Back at it again |

Well, I started throwing again today. I've got to admit, it felt great to get back into it. I had a chance to do a full med ball and weighted ball workout with some footwork drills. The lifting I've been doing over the last few months has definitely paid off. I have a long way to go but I think this year will be a year to build a good foundation. I'm not sure I'll compete this year but we'll see how things are later in the season. I think I'll leave USATF Championships as an option. Who knows. I just don't want a repeat of the 2006 championships where I was tired and beat up and ready to go under the knife. Of course I'd like to forget about the poor showing for the 2008 season as well (with no improvement after the first meet, I'm positive I rushed into the season after surgery). This year I'll play it safe and train like I'm preparing for the 2010 season.
Among other goals this year, one goal is to keep posting in my blog (I always slack off in that area).
